Our friends at the National Association of Disabled Supporters (NADS) have announced the launch of a series of Disabled Fans’ Forum regional meetings across the country. The first meeting will take place at Birmingham City on Thursday, November 27, 2008 (1pm).
The forums hope to gather experiences from disabled supporters in order to better understand the issues that affect those attending football matches. NADS are keen to hear about your concerns and would also like to hear examples of good practice across the country.
Meetings are open to local individual disabled supporters and representatives from local Disabled Supporter Associations or Groups who can feedback the issues of their membership. There will also be representation from the Football Supporters' Federation, Supporters Direct and Kick It Out.
Supporters from outside the region are welcome to attend the meeting although priority will be given to local disabled supporters.
NADS cannot cover expenses but tea/coffee and biscuits will be available. If you would like to attend, please email NADS at email@example.com with your name, organisation represented and any special access needs.
