Football Supporters Europe (FSE), the umbrella organisation for supporter groups across the continent, want to hear from fans of English clubs travelling abroad in European club competitions.
The Away Fans at European Competitions survey marks the first step in FSE’s efforts to introduce minimum standards for supporters following their teams across Europe.
Fans travelling to European games face a number of challenges - such as late fixture announcements, visa requirements, ticket prices, policing issues and more - and FSE want to see improvements across the board. The survey will monitor all of those factors as well as the conditions of away ends.
Much like the FSF’s own Away Fans Survey in English football, the information gathered from travelling fans in Europe will be presented to clubs and football authorities (UEFA in this case) to find ways of improving the away fan experience.
